Victim to Warrior Foundation, Inc. is a Georgia Domestic Nonprofit Corporation and recognized 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to helping survivors of abuse access the resources they need to heal, rebuild, and regain independence.
The Foundation was incorporated on March 25, 2026, to help survivors who cannot afford essential long-term recovery resources and support.
Our mission is to support survivors as they transition from surviving abuse to rebuilding strong, independent lives.
We focus on long-term recovery by providing the emotional, educational, and financial empowerment survivors need to regain confidence, stability, and independence.
Victim to Warrior Foundation was created after identifying a major gap in survivor support. Emergency services may help someone through an immediate crisis, but many survivors are left without the long-term resources needed to rebuild their lives.
The Foundation helps bridge this gap by expanding access to recovery education, emotional support, confidence rebuilding, financial empowerment, coaching, digital resources, and community partnerships.
Our guiding message is simple:
Foundation support may include:
Emotional healing and recovery support
Confidence rebuilding and mindset development
Financial education and empowerment
Divorce and life transition coaching
Digital access to recovery tools and resources
Partnerships with shelters, nonprofits, churches, and community organizations
Support is based on individual eligibility, demonstrated need, available funding, and program capacity.
Within its first few months of operation, Victim to Warrior Foundation helped more than seven women by paying for coaching and support services they otherwise may not have been able to afford.
As the Foundation grows, we aim to expand our programs, partnerships, and financial assistance so more survivors can access meaningful long-term recovery support.
John Rymer is a survivor, coach, wellness advocate, and leader committed to helping survivors rebuild their lives with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Melissa Rymer is a survivor, certified recovery and divorce coach, author, speaker, and advocate dedicated to helping survivors understand abuse, rebuild confidence, strengthen boundaries, and regain control of their lives.
Dawn Carmada serves as Secretary of the Board and supports the Foundation’s governance, organizational accountability, and charitable mission.
Victim to Warrior Foundation, Inc. operates as a separate nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to recovery support for survivors who may otherwise be unable to afford it.
Foundation assistance is reviewed according to charitable need, eligibility, available funding, and program capacity. Applying for support does not require purchasing a course, membership, coaching package, or other paid service.
The Foundation is committed to responsible governance, ethical stewardship, and transparency regarding the use of charitable contributions.
Required IRS filings, financial summaries, and annual reports will be made available as they are completed and become publicly available.
